Madam/ Sir,
With reference to your letter F. No.
190353/1/2011/Acad./EO (M)/ KVS (DR)/ 18649 dated 13-09-2011, on the subject
cited above, I am to convey that the existing procedure of funding from
divisional Association fund of concerned Division ( vide this office letter of
even number dated 17 - 8 – 2011 issued by the State
Secretary KVS BS&G – Copy enclosed herewith) will be
continued for the academic year 2011-2012, however the suggestion of funding
from VVN of Individual KV and verification of bills will be discussed in the
forthcoming Deputy Commissioners Conference/ Annual meeting of KVS BS&G
State Association Meeting.
It is also for your kind information that the Uniform Allowance
is exempted from Income Tax. However, a self declaration may be obtained from
teacher on account of maintenance of Uniform through Principal concerned.
It issues with approval of competent authority.

Please refer the Minutes of the Dy.
Commissioner Conference- 2012/ Meeting of the KVS BS&G State Association
held at India Habitate Centre, Lodi Road New Delhi on 06-07-2012 under the
Chairmanship of Commissioner KVS & State Chief Commissioner KVS BS&G.
The Minutes of this meeting communicated to all Regional Offices for
impimentation, the Item No. 04, Point No 05 is related to use of “FACEBOOK’ in
KVS BS&G, which is repruduced as under:-
“Sharing of Knowledge and experience on Facebook:- Now a day among
the International Leaders of Scouting Movement Facebook became very popular due
to its utility; being a strong Public Platform to share and keep up aware about
worldwide activities of the movement. Indian Union member of different State
are also on the net for Sharing and carrying to each other (KVS Bhubaneswar
region successfully experimented it (the use of ‘facebook’) in Puri
Camp-2012).”
“In this regard, It is approved that we may create an example by using this media in Positive and constructive way.it is
also approved that;-
i. Experimentally all
KVS Uniformed members are allowed to use “facebook” for publicity of KVS
BS&G activities, sharing of information and as a teaching tool of the scouting
movement.
ii. The Patrol Leaders
may also join this activity under supervision of Unit Leader or parent.”
Please make best use of this facility by
sharing the knowlege and experiences on‘facebook’, publishing
ideas, sketches, Modal-photographs, research work related to BS&G.You are
also requested to promote the KVS BS&G movement by using this social media (facebook) as per the above mentioned and approved
norms.

of KVS BS&G Warrant Certificate Number.
Sir/ Madam,
It
is my pleasure to convey the approval of the competent authority regarding
issuance of the KVS BS&G Warrants Certificate Number in all Districts including
in the newly formed Regions/ Divisions:-
1. The Warrant to all the teachers and other officials
working in the KVS BS&G District as Unit Leader will be issued by the
District Commissioner (Scout and Guide) under the direction of concerned Divisional
Office (section wise), on behalf of the State Chief Commissioner, KVS BS&G
[The seal of the District Commissioner (Scout and Guide) should contain (i)
his/ her Name, Rank, (ii) Name of the District and (iii) Address of DC Office
should be stamped under his/ her signature (with date)].
2. The Warrant Certificate to all the DCC/ District
Commissioner and KVS HQ officials will be issued by the Honourable Commissioner
KVS as State Chief Commissioner KVS BS&G on proper recommendations.
